The exact words, frozen.
The terms each person agreed to are stored as they were, with a SHA-256 hash. If a single character changed later, the hash would not match.
Countersigned by your company.
A named person on your side signs after the other party. The document is fully executed only when both have.
Stronger identity when it matters.
Per agreement you can require a login, a code sent to the signer's phone, or a photo of an ID that a manager reviews.
Templates that fill themselves in.
Write the agreement once. Names, roles, rates and dates fill in from the person and the role.
After the signature
Agreements change. Issue an amendment and the original stays frozen with its own certificate. Set an end date and you are reminded before it expires or renews. Unsigned agreements can be nudged automatically.
Anyone holding a signed PDF can check it on a public page: drop the file, or paste its hash, and it says whether the document is genuine and unchanged. The file is checked in the browser and is never uploaded.
If a signature is ever questioned, one click downloads the evidence: the signed copy, the certificate and the record of every step.
About the law
The signing flow records what US law (ESIGN and UETA) asks for: consent to sign electronically, who signed, when, and the exact record they signed. That is a description of what the software captures, not legal advice. For anything unusual, ask your lawyer.
